“The new employee experience is a human experience.”- Robb Holman
During the covid pandemic, senior leaders, executive teams, and human resource directors have realized the need to connect with their team members. Recognizing the increased need for bolder workplace performance, many have adopted strategic ways to incentivize their employees and create the ultimate “Employee Experience.” Things such as extra vacation time, more autonomy, and favorable bonus structures are just some of the things many leaders are implementing.
Although these things are good and needed, they should not be counted on for vibrant and sustainable growth. If leaders rely on these things alone, they are using external or “outside” tactics trying to get into the heart of the worker.
There is a better way. It’s called Inside Out Leadership!
When we let the goals and measures of success override our investment in people, team members perceive themselves as a means to an end, a product to be consumed, to achieve some stated objective, not the objective itself. Inside Out Leadership Influence isn’t based on how many people join your team. It’s based on the depth you share with each person. Having devoted team members is the result of developing strong personal relationships.
In this highly anticipated new book – Move the Needle, Best-Selling Author & Global Speaker, Robb Holman, takes leaders on an in-depth look at why we must prioritize people over procedures for greater results. And in this episode of Inside Out Leadership w/ Robb Holman, we welcome Robb to the stage of his own show for the official launch of his new book where the show producer, Ryan Gerardi, serves as host for this special episode.
