However, the story behind this decorated Paralympic Athlete and Wheelchair basketball legend has far more than meets the eye – the ability to see ourselves in the midst of his story.
At age 19 with sights set on playing Division 1 Basketball and fulfilling his childhood dream of making it to the NBA, Dave Kiley had a spinal cord injury while he was inner tubing in Southern California mountains.
All of a sudden, his life came to a screeching halt.
